Front Card Information

Tips For Fronts

Stick to no more than 2 font families. The Company Name can be one style and the rest of the text can be a font that compliments that style. The phone and any additional information should be the same style as the address, however, within the address and additional information you can use a variation of bold, bold italic or italic.

Please refer to the type samples provided. Note that not all fonts come in all variations of styles. Most fonts classified as a script cannot be made bold or italic. If it can be made bold this will appear in the fonts menu.

Keep the front simple, especially if you are choosing a design that is covered by flowers. We try to keep the type off the flowers, for a visually pleasing card. If you are using a border photo, we recommend 4 to 5 lines at the most. If you choose a photo where there is a small opening on the top or bottom, plan on 2 or 3 lines. The more you add the smaller the point size will have to be, which may make it hard for your customers to read.

Refer to our card samples for sample backs. Sometimes less is more. Keep in mind the more selling points you check off the harder it will be for customers to read them. We recommend between 6 and 8 – 6 if you are also including things like your hours and repeating your name and address on back.
